116 piece Vintage Oneida Tudor Plate QUEEN BESS Set

This listing is for a beautiful 116 piece set of QUEEN BESS silverplate flatware; the pattern was originally made starting in 1946 by Tudor Plate, a division of Oneida. The Chest is included, but you may elect to not take it.

24 Dinner Forks 7 ½ long. 23 Salad Forks 6 ½ long. 16 Oval Soup spoons 7 long.

1 Meat Fork 8 ½ long. 6 Serving Spoons 8 ¼ long. 1 Gravy Ladle 7 long.

1 Sugar Spoon 6 long. The set is in good condition still shiny and lovely. Most pieces have very tiny scratches from use typical for its age. There is a little tarnish present.

The silver chest is about 14 x 10 x 3 ½. This chest is a Chest by McGraw (as is printed inside the chest).

The chest is structurally sound, but like a lot of old silver chests, it has nicks, scratches in the finish. The hinges are secure and operate smoothly.

The chest is still square and true and closes in alignment. The chest is lined with a deep mauve felt. I do not use rubber bands to wrap the silverware; there is a chemical used in the processing of rubber that actually burns the silverplate. For the most part, our items come from local Auctions and Estate Sales and other types of sales.
