51pc Fritz Voos F. V. 100 Louis XV 1920-1947 German Silverplate Flatware Set NICE

This is an amazing German silverplate flatware set. It's made by Fritz Voos in their Louis XV pattern which has been long discontinued and very hard to find in a complete set in this condition. The old German plating system differs from the norm.

You can read up on it, but this set is F. 100, which means it has a very thick coating of silver. Very high quality stuff here and it's absolutely stunning. This was produced some time between 1920 and 1947.

Each piece has been polished and gently washed. Besides the very VERY light wear, the only blemish is on one of the tablespoons...

There's a little divot on the inside of the bowl, see pic. They could still use another light cleaning, I got the majority of the tarnish off, but there is still some very light, more stubborn residual tarnish. The box is original, not in the best shape, but it's holding pretty well. The outer, faux gator paper covering does have damage here and there and the top has a slight bow in it that makes it tough to latch closed. The satiny interior has some staining and the little things that hold each piece, in the bottom of the case, are loose but holding.
