Antique 4 Piece Silver Plated Tea Set by JB Chatterley & Sons Ltd. A very stylish teapot, hot water pot, sugar bowl and creamer. The Chatterley company was active from around 1880 and to at least 1936 at Albert Works, New Town Rd and Pitsford St, Birmingham. I believe this set will date to the first part of the 20th century.

Condition: Generally in a good condition, there is typical light scratching from use but there is a more significant scratch to the top of the teapot (picture 4) and the hot water has an area of slightly heavier scratching (picture 5) as doe he creamer (picture 2 near handle). There are some marks to the inside of the items and tarnishing externally. No dents or dings and the plating is in tact. I notice from the pictures that there is some polish residue to the underside of one of the lids. Sizes: Teapot 29.5cm wide, 15cm high, 589grams. Hot Water Pot 21cm high, 20cm high, 522grams. Sugar Bowl 17cm wide, 9cm high, 167grams.Creamer 14.5cm wide, 9cm high, 129grams. We will try to answer questions as soon as possible.
