Community Silverplate Flatware Morning Star 54pc. Set Chest / Box Post-1940. This is a very nice set of Silverplate Flatware in great used condition.

It was made by Community Silverplate a division of Oneida. The pattern is called Morning Star which was first introduced in 1948. There is nice filigree on the handle where the morning star flower is. There are 54 pieces in the set which include. 8 Grille Forks 7 1/2.

5 Grille Knives 8 1/2 (2 have slightly bent bades but not very noticeable when using). 8 Salad Forks 6 3/8 (paneled). 8 Soup Spoons 7 1/2. 8 Ice Tea Spoons 7 1/2. 5 Individual Butter Knives 6 1/2.

1 Master Butter Knife 7. 1 Meat Fork 8 1/2. This is a beautiful set in a wood box that has some deep scratches and wear.

The inside has burgundy felt tht is still in good condition but is just starting to split at the hinge area. The set is in great used condition with no heel marks. Please view the photos for a better description. I have other neat things listed. Please view my other items.
