This is a very nice older set of Community silverplated flatware. The pattern is titled Adam and dates back to 1917. This is a beautiful antique design with an S monogram featured on almost all the pieces.

The set consists of 85 pieces which is a full service for 12 including double teaspoons and 2 serving pieces. It presents in good to very good condition with some scratching due to wear and/use. Otherwise, all the pieces are free from any damage or defects. The pieces polish to nice brilliant shine, and each has the makers signature on the underside. The included wood box has some scratches to the outer surface, but looks really good for its age. Inside, the lining and place settings are perfectly intact.

In total, the weight of the boxed set is 12 pounds, and the box measures 17 by 11 and a 1/2 by 3 and a 1/4 in high. The 85 pieces breakdown as follows: 12 dinner knives, 12 butter knives, 23 teaspoons, 12 soup spoons (6 are pointed, and 6 are rounded), 12 dinner forks, 12 salad forks, 1 master butter knife, and 1 sugar spoon. This is a wonderfully elegant set which will set a magnificent table. The design has an old world look and feel from days long ago past.
