Oneida Community Winsome Silverplate Flatware 37pc Set Post-1940. This is a wonderful set of silverplate made by Community Plate for Oneida.
The pattern is called Winsome and it was first introduced in 1959. The set is in great used condition with no heel marks, but could use a light polish.Included in the 37 piece set are. 9 Dinner Forks 7 3/8. 10 Dinner Knives 9 1/4. 10 Salad Forks 6 1/2. The set comes in a wood box that has seen some use. The outside has wear, deep scratches and is generally tired looking. The inside is a bit worse. There is a blue felt liner that has turned a dull gray green over time with a white satin top that is now more brown than white.
One of the knife holders is broken and part of the felt is torn. I believe the hinge has broken loose at it's mount one side so the box will sit slightly askew. You may want to forgo the box and just take the silver so please note that option below.
The box came with the silver so I want to pass it on. It should still work to keep the silver tarnish free if you do not mind the wear. I have other neat things listed. Please view my other items.
