Silverplate Carving Set & Bread Tray 1847 Rogers Bros. FIRST LOVE Pattern
Silverplate 2 piece roast carving set and bread tray in the beautiful First Love pattern. 2 piece carving set has plate guards, silverplate hollow handles, and stainless blades. Knife measures 13 1/2" long and fork measures 11 1/2" long.
These are both in excellent condition with no dings or dents in the hollow handles and barely a scratch! Also included with the carving set is a hard to find First Love pattern bread tray. Tray measures 13 1/2" long, 7" wide, 2" high on ends, and 1" high in middle. Hallmarked on bottom as pictured.
Rim of tray has the same floral pattern as on the tips of the carving set. Tray is in good overall condition, but does have a couple of very small areas of pinpoint pitting in bottom on sides, one larger pinhead sized spot, and 2 eraser sized areas that are the beginning of plate loss. All as pictured in last 2 photos.
