Vintage 56 Pcs 1847 Rogers Bros FIRST LOVE Silverplate Flatware 8 Place Settings
Vintage 56 piece set of silver plate flatware. Made by 1847 Rogers Bros, International, in the. The silverware is stamped on the backs as shown in the close up.
8 Grille Knives - 8-1/2. 8 Grille Forks - 7-3/4.
Oval Soup or Table Spoons - 7. Salad or Dessert Forks 6-3/4. 1 Extra Large Serving Spoon.1 Pastry or Pie Server. The set is in excellent vintage used, but not abused condition. They have been hand washed and lightly hand polished just enough to assess condition.
One knife has a black spot on the stainless blade (see closeup). The sugar spoon has the most in terms of wear, (see closeup of the bowl). I have to say it was the only one in the set that was completely tarnished black, but no plate loss.
Please use the zoom feature to get a better idea on how much there is in the way of scratches etc. No deep gouges or disposal damage.
