All pieces are entirely silver plated except the blades of the dinner and luncheon knives and the upper parts of the carving set which are stainless steel. The blades of the knives are stamped. The upper part of the carving fork is stamped. The pieces in this set have a particularly high level of brilliance due to their above average silver content, for example, the dinner forks and spoons have a silver content of 120 grams for twelve pieces when the average is around 84 grams.This flatware set is in excellent condition with the exception of faint scratches, tiny spots on one luncheon spoon and a small point of corrosion on the stainless steel upper part of the carving fork.
