1960's Silverware Set, International Deep Silver Silverplate, Korea, 92 Pieces

The "deep silver" process, manufactured by International Silver in the 1960's, had heavier coating of plating than normal, with the intent to reducing plating wear over time. This process extended the life of the pieces, especially evident in this set, which is in excellent condition. This elegant set (Countess Pattern) has a total of 92 pieces. Service for 12 includes 12 appetizer forks, 12 salad forks, 12 dinner forks, 12 soup spoons, 12 tea spoons, 12 knives and 12 individual butter knives.

Additionally, there are 8 different serving utensils as shown in the listing photos. Pieces are marked Korea International Deep Silver Silverplate.

This chest measures 11 1/2 x 17 1/2 x 8. This silverware set, plus silverware storage chest, are in EXCELLENT condition with minimal "vintage" wear. Total weight is over 15 pounds.
