24 Pc Lee & Wigfull Mother of Pearl Dessert Set Chased Charter Oak Style DesignWood Chest! A beautifully crafted set with such an amazing chased design! This stunning set has been well taken care of with hardly any scratches, no plate loss or heel wear but is and antique and not "new".

Knives have crisp clean blade edges, nice straight tines on the forks! The mother of pearl handles are in amazing condition with natural imperfections that is true to all mother of pearl and a couple with slight touches of discoloration mostly on the side of the handles from age but no cracks, chips or breaks. The 12 knives measure about 7 3/4 inches and have pointed tips. The 12 matching forks measure 6 1/4 inches long.

All pieces are freshly polished and individually wrapped. The knives are marked on the blade "L&W" with an anchor "S", marking for maker Lee & Wigfull of Sheffield, England c1872. This set come with a stunning custom wood chest lined with a purple velvet with individual slots for each piece.

The outside of the box shows light wear with blank brass plate but no key. There is a slight warp to the top of the box. This magnificent Charter Oak style Mother of Pearl Handled Dessert Set with would make a spectacular addition to any collection or a wonderful heirloom gift!
