Silver Plated Carving Set, 19th. Two piece silver plated carving set is made up of a fork and a knife and is offered in an antique. Case lined in dark green velvet and green satin and stamped in gold with the insignia.
The handles of both pieces bear the makers marks of the famous. Written in block letters and the initials C.Surrounding the images of a scale and a bee surmounted by two stars. The upper part of the fork is also silver plated and bears the same makers marks.
The steel blade of the knife is stamped. This set is in very good condition with the exception of faint scratches, slight signs of wear on the upper parts and signs of wear on the case, not unusual for a set that has been around for more than 100 years!
