Elegant twenty-six piece antique French flatware set dating from the early 20th century is designed in a handsome pattern of crossed ribbons, laurel branches and acanthus leaves. The set is made up of 12 dinner spoons, 12 dinner forks, a ladle and a serving spoon or. Each piece bears the makers mark consisting of the initials J. Surrounding the image of a lyre. The makers mark includes a number indicating the silver content in grams 84 gr. For the dinner forks and spoons, 12 gr.

For the ladle and 6 gr. Each piece also bears a second mark with the words. This set is in very good condition with the exception of superficial scratches and signs of normal use, especially on the backs of the upper parts of the fork tines, all due to great age and normal use.
