A gorgeous collection of late 19th century knives and forks which are crafted from mother of pearl with silvered blades. The combination of pearl and silver is hard to compare and is simply dazzling.

The silver is engraved with tiny floral patterns. They compress as the eye moves from the edge of the silverware to the pearl handles. The set comes in its original wooden box, which has an age crack running horizontally near the top of the front cover. The inside has fared much better. The lining is a royal blue silk and contains keys for the lock on the box. As for the silverware itself, it is in near perfect having endured the past century gracefully. A fine addition to any china cabinet or for use during special occasions.
