ANTIQUE SHEFFIELD MOTHER OF PEARL SILVER PLATE & STERLING DESSERT SET w/BOX. This 19th century complete dessert set for 12 is absolutely stunning. Beautiful & ornate pieces, most with mother of pearl handles. Set includes 12 knives & forks & 8 serving pieces which include nut crackers & fruit scissors. Comes with original fitted box lined with purple velvet & satin. 1866 - EPNS - sterling bands. Box has award plaque dated 1895.

The knives measure 8" in length while the forks measures 6-1/2". The serving spoons measure 9-1/2" in length while the serving knife measures 10". The scissors measure 7-1/8" in length while the nutcrackers measure 5-3/4".

The nut pickers measures 5-1/4. Total weight with box is 9 pounds 6.3 ounces. Great vintage condition - just slight surface scratches & tarnish. However, the box shows some wear.
