This set contains two different types of diner knives and forks (please see photo #5). One is a standard set, the other is a type that was created for a meat course, with longer handles and shorter tines and blades during the'20's and was popular for a few decades and which can be used for dinner in general; the unusual look of these sets appeal to some, regardless of use. There are only 6 salad forks but there are also 18 dinner forks, so these could stand in for salad forks in 6 of the place settings which is why "possible" is abbreviated "poss" in the title, as this might work for some people. In nice, shiny shape with some light scratching and small imperfections commensurate with age and reasonable use. The most signs of wear can be found in the bowls of the soup spoons (please see photos #7-#9). Set Consists of the Following. 18 (7 1/2) Grille Viande Dinner Fork. 12 (8 3/8) Grille Viande Dinner Knives. 6 (6 3/8) Salad Forks. 6 Oval Soup Spoons (if the length isn't yet listed, let me know and I'll measure it for you). 6 Iced Tea Spoons see above. 6 (7) Round Soup Spoons. 2 (6 7/8) Master Butter Knives. 1 (5 3/4) Sugar Spoon.
