12 forks and 12 knives plus wood storage box and orig key. I believe this is Hamilton Laidlaw Glasgow SILVERPLATE. It's definitely English/Scottish made. Google London Silver Vaults what they are if you're not familiar with the place. It's underground in the London banking district and its a basement full of bank vaults.
Similar to a flea market except no tables but businesses inside these small vaults used as petite stores. It's an amazing place I highly recommend if you ever visit London. I may have used it once as I had a second set with pearl handles. This way your wedding/anniversary gift would be customized. A fish set is used when a filet of fish is served and its a refined way to separate the fish meat from the bones and skin by sliding the knife gently thru the filet depending if you have a whole fish or just a side filet. You would use this during the fish course. I love the English traditions. Anyways, this is probably only been used a couple of times. I used it maybe once. Hope you enjoy this great cutlery collection.
The box packed weighs 5.10 ounces as the wood box is quite heavy.
