EXQUISITE VICTORIAN SILVER PLATE FLATWARE SET FOR DESSERT, FRUIT AND NUTS 1898. ELABORATE STERLING SILVER, MOTHER-OF-PEARL AND SILVER PLATE FLATWARE SET. ORIGINAL INLAID FINE WOODEN BOX LINED WITH RED SATIN IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION. IT CONSISTS OF TWO GOLD-WASHED BERRY SPOONS, TWO NUT PICKS, TWO NUT CRACKERS, TWO SUGAR SIFTER SPOONS, ONE PAIR OF GRAPE SHEARS, SIX STERLING SILVER-COLLARED SILVER PLATE FORKS AND SIX ENGRAVED, STERLING SILVER-COLLARED KNIVES MEASURING 7 1/2 LONG OVERALL. THE UNDOUBTED CENTERPIECE IS THE FABULOUS 10 3/4 WIDE BOWL.

THE BOWL IS STAMPED WITH A REGISTERED DESIGN NUMBER FOR 1894. IT IS ALSO STAMPED WITH THE HALLMARKS OF "ISAAC EYRE & SON" "EP" & "PRIMUS". THIS SET IS IN UNBELIE.

IT APPEARS TO BE UNUSED. NO DAMAGE OR WEAR TO NOTE.
