This lovely set boast narrow, sleek satin finish Mother of Pearl Handles, full of fiery colors when the light catches them! The blades and tines are undecorated, for a look that is elegant in its simplicity! The wood chest is striking, lines in a deep plum velvet, with a burst of color in a fushia satin fan design! A lovely example of craftsmanship to show off the flatware, neatly nestled in individual double-stacked slots for each piece! This set is in excellent overall condition, well preserved over the years.

No plate loss or heel wear except for one tiny spot of plate thinning on the blade of one knife, by the maker's mark. The wonderful mother of pearl handles are free of any damage or discoloration.

Mother of Pearl does have naturally occurring imperfections and variations that is part of the beauty of MOP. The fruit knives measure 7 3/8" and fruit forks are 6". The custom wood chest is in very good condition, showing only light wear to the outside, with an empty brass cartouche. Unfortuanately, the key is missing for this set. The inside still looks nice with only minor wear and a little dust.
