Landers Frary & Clark 24 Pc. Flatware Fish Set Silver & Mother of Pearl Handles. This listing is for an early 20. Century sterling silver and mother of pearl handle 18 piece flatware set by Landers, Frary & Clark Aetna Works and 6 near matching sterling silver and mother of pearl knives. The forks measure 7 ΒΌ inches or 18.4cm long and 5 of the knives are 8 1/8 inches or 20.6cm long with one measuring 8 7/8 long. The other 5 knives measure 9 inches or 22.86 cm long with one measuring 7 3/4 inches or 19.68 cm long. The flatware features smooth hand carved mother of pearl handles, each set with a sterling silver bas relief collar decorated with bas relief roses with leaves and on stem. The other 6 slightly different knives has a similar scrolling band with a swirl work pattern. The collars are marked "STERLING". The forks have 4 tines; the knife blades are long with a rounded tip. The six blades are marked LANDERS, FRARY, & CLARK AETNA WORKS with the other blades having 3 marks in cartouches which I can't identify. They are in in overall excellent condition with minor age appropriate surface scratches to the mother of pearl handles.
