Old Sheffield Silverplate Capped Stag Horn Handle Fork Knife Serving Set
ANTIQUE DEALER'S ESTATE COLLECTION AND INVENTORY. 12.25" and 9.75" approx. Ornate hilt collars & cap ends suggestive of Landers Frary Clark silversmiths but just a guess. Etched blade & shovel , marked EPNS, Tip end of knife shows plate wear both sides so that brass base is showing though. Both pieces show usage but not abuse, obviously a well loved heirloom that probably saw many family dinner occasions. Genuine deer or stag horn handles.
Original intention or use was for fish course but also makes for unique dessert / cake set or other meat servers too. Preowned & used tabled ware in good condition.
