We are not sure if its sterling or not (it isn't magnetic) but one thing we do know is this set was exquisitely made with matching monograms on their back top handles (see photos). With their custom style and intricate monograms, these beautiful silver utensils are not only useful at your next party or get together, they are also great conversation pieces. Both pieces measure 8 inches long and together weigh 5.8 ounces. These pieces are very old, and as such have the normal wear one would expect from items used in this manner.

There do not seem to be any major scratches or dings. This set is a perfect addition to anyone's vintage silverware collection.
