Christofle GALEA Silverplated Dessert Forks Set of Six. French Silver-maker Christofle is an enduring symbol of luxury, elegance and prestige in the art of silver. The GALEA pattern, created in 2001, displays a vaulted enlarged petal motif which crosses over, creating a medallion at the bottom of the handle which remains ideal for monogramming. A "Galea" was a roman soldier helmet and refers to an anatomical structure where a thick braid-like motif crosses over, leaving a crest medallion at the finish. GALEA is part of those Christofle timeless patterns which hang permanently at the crossroads between the classical and the contemporary.

Each item is fully hallmarked with Christofle hallmarks. SIX (6) Dessert Forks 6 ¾ inches (17 cm).

This set is in Good used condition showing signs of frequent use in light surface scratches, minor surface dings, pin-head spots, slight tine bends.
