Silver Hndled Fish Set for 12 by Walker & Hall Sheffield With Case

Very nice Victorian or turn of the century fish set service for 12. Lightly used and in excellent condition. Retains its original wood box, brass shield (with no monogram), and original key. The interior is lined in blue velvet and is in excellent condition.

Retains label on the edge of the box. Registration number 659757 is embossed on the handles of the forks and knives. On the back of the fork handle, the hallmarks are displayed and the knives display the marks on the blades.

The forks are 7 1/2 in length. The knives are 8 in length. The lock mechanism may need some tweaking - I could not get it to lock properly. The wood box is in very good condition with a few minor scratches and bumps from storage.
