
Offered here is an 82-piece silverplate flatware set in the "Countess II" pattern (introduced 1936) by Simeon L & George H Rogers Company, Oneida Ltd. The design features elegant vertical paneling with delicate floral scrollwork, reflecting the refined Art Deco style of the 1930s. This service was originally produced for 8 place settings and is nearly complete-only one demitasse spoon is missing from making it a full 8-place service.
It still includes a generous selection of serving pieces and comes housed in its original wooden flatware chest with salmon-colored anti-tarnish lining. Flatware is in very good vintage condition with a bright shine and normal light wear from use. Chest shows minor cosmetic wear consistent with age. Some age typical wear like scratch marks are to be expected of a set of 90 years of age soon to be antique?? A beautiful, nearly complete service with desirable serving pieces and a protective anti-tarnish chest-perfect for weddings, holiday dining, or adding timeless elegance to your table.
