This is a gorgeous - really beautiful and unusual coffee and tea set, hand made, very likely British given that it appears to be related with earlier Victorian designs that often used wooden handles and elaborate flutes, but with no markings I just cannot tell. The set is very heavy - weighing in at about 4 kg - the metal is quite thick. The handles are all of wood, which is dark and looks like walnut. The set is in very good condition for its age - most likely made in the 1920s or early 1930s.

There are a few spots on the coffee pot toward the very bottom where the silver plating has eroded (see last photo), but otherwise there are no significant marks (the photo of the sugar bowl shows some dark areas but these are shadows, not spots). It is almost 100 years old, however, so don't expect that it looks like new. I polished quite a bit of tarnish off - and more can be removed using a very fine abrasive metal cleaning product such as Autosol - the entire set will gleam and shine like mad! Coffee pot: 22 cm tall, 25 cm wide, 12 cm deep. Tea pot: 18 cm tall, 27 cm wide, 11 cm deep.

Creamer / milk jug: 15 cm tall, 18 cm wide, 8 cm deep. Sugar bowl: 10 cm tall, 18 cm wide, 8 cm deep.
