Vintage International Deep Silver ORLEANS Silverplate Flatware Set 32 Pieces
Vintage 32 piece set of silver plate flatware. 1964 by International Silver, Deep Silver line in the Orleans pattern. The silverware is stamped on the backs as shown in the close up. 8 Modern Hollow Handle Dinner Knives. 8 Salad or Dessert Forks. Excellent vintage condition, used but not abused. A very nice set to add to your existing pieces. No plate loss on heels. Most of the teaspoons pieces look unused. There is a manufacturers defect on the outer edges of two dinner forks and a salad fork.
It appears that they did not get covered well enough on the sharp corners along the edges, see closeups. I have shown them in extreme closeup because I want to be accurate.
I think it's a manufactures flaw because, if it was normal wear the heels would have wear and they don't. They have been hand washed and gently polished just enough to assess condition.
